The troll planet is relatively new to the solar system. It got caught by the Sun’s gravity and is sort of oddly hooked into an orbit near Earth.

The human governments think it’s just a planetoid that is uninhabited, but of course the Trolls are on it.

They hide underground or in their hives mostly due to how hot the sun is every time their planet turns to face it.

It looks dead or mostly dead.

Yes yes good.

That’d also explain how they get the same session; the game probably goes for all the planets in a system that have life on them. Since Earth is the only one shown to have it in the Milky Way, that’d explain why the kids had their own session in HS.
